| The
Coven, exiled from their ancestral home, and ruled by
the twisted and megalomaniacal Suenthis, establish a
base deep within the bowels of a dormant volcano and
begin to recruit new followers. Guided by an entity that
even the Gods fear, Suenthis is made aware of the
potential adversaries
among the peoples she seeks to conquer and so orders her
priestess Alimon to bring about the death of a family
descended from the powerful disciple of the God of War -
Balitorn.
The
son of Greynard Barony, Marek survives the attack and
takes up the mantle of his father's rule, struggling to
find the cause of the attack and shore up their defences
before more attacks come.
A
group of men captured and enslaved by the Coven plot
against their cruel masters and seek to escape. Led by a
former caravan guard, Falkuri, their destiny will become
entwined with the Baronies of the land and a young
psychic talent of the Coven who is about to finish her
training and graduate into the ranks of the coven's evil
sisterhood.
